Every year thousands of children experience our fun, informative hands-on learning sessions. Our activities have been created with secondary teachers and specialists to enhance learning through Brighton & Hove Museums’ unique collections and buildings.

KS3

  • Pavilion TourThis tour will take your through the history of Brighton from a fishing town, a fashionable spa town to the arrival of the Prince Regent, soon to be King George IV.
  • Power to the People – Join us at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery for a hands-on session exploring local stories of protest and activism in Brighton and Hove. Learn about people, groups, and places that have influenced change in our city. Leave with your own mini textile banner or zine.
  • Empire on the Seafront – Follow in the footsteps of the Indian Soldiers who were sent to recover from injury and illness at the hospital set up in The Royal Pavilion in Brighton. Hear their stories and learn about their experiences on the Western Front, and during their time in Brighton. 
  • Brighton and the Transatlantic Triangular Trade (upcoming) –
