Brighton & Hove Museums Trust is a dynamic charity dedicated to preserving and celebrating our city’s rich history. We care for over one million objects and manage some of the most iconic buildings in Brighton & Hove, none more famous than the stunning Royal Pavilion.
We’re looking for a Facilities Compliance Manager to lead B&HM’s legal and ethical integrity, ensuring that we comply with all relevant laws and internal policies of our unique property portfolio. This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of Brighton’s cultural heritage, delivering a programme of work to support the essential management of buildings across the B&HM property portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Have strategic oversite to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies, identifying potential risks or non-compliance issues.
- Create, update, and implement company policies and procedures to align with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to sector-specific regulations, including environmental, safety, or data protection laws
- Continuous monitoring of regulatory changes and fostering a culture of compliance throughout B&HM
What we’re looking for
- Experience in project management or data analysis.
- Experience of working in public-facing premises.
- A demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement.
- The ability to keep up to date with safe working practices and implement them effectively in the workplace.
