Crafted right here in Sussex by master makers Plunge Creations, these extravagant disguises represent the ultimate fusion of design, engineering and theatrical flair. From giant feathered creatures to dazzling pop-culture icons, each costume takes hundreds of hours of sculpting, sewing and creative wizardry to bring to life.
This vibrant exhibition celebrates world-class local talent, offering a rare glimpse behind the scenes at the hidden details, extraordinary craftsmanship and playful creativity built into every mask before the famous unmasking.
Visitors can experience the high drama, impressive skill and pure joy that transforms a wild idea into a national phenomenon. Get up close to the costumes, spot the clues and see what goes into creating the magic before it’s time to take it off.
