Win a free art class to celebrate The National Gallery’s 200th anniversary

Calling all art fans, we’ve teamed up with Govia Thameslink Railway (which runs Southern and Thameslink trains in and out of Brighton) to celebrate The National Gallery’s 200th anniversary.

To mark this significant milestone, the train operator is offering  the chance to take part in a unique drawing class on one of its trains, for free!

Each class will be led by Brighton-based artist, Sara Reeve, who was a semi-finalist on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2023. Sara will guide participants through the session and help them to enhance their drawing skills.
As well as a free train journey from Brighton to London and back, art lovers can visit The National Gallery exhibition at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, where a painting by the Dutch Old Master Rembrandt Van Rijn; Self Portrait at the Age of 34, 1640, will be on display until 4 August.

To be in with a chance of winning a spot on this exciting live drawing class, register your interest by replying to this email by Friday 28 June at the latest.
Please note: the live drawing class will take place between Monday 8 and Sunday 21 July.
