Running from early May 2025, the tours are booking only and include:
Behind Closed Doors Tour – Upper Chambers
Behind Closed Doors Tour – Ground Floor
These guided experiences reveal the Royal Pavilion as you’ve never seen it before—peeling back its glamorous façade to uncover the real stories of royal staff, secret passageways, and unseen splendour.
The Basement & Tunnel Tour explores the Pavilion’s underground heart. Wander through the vaulted servants’ quarters and WWII air raid shelter before following a hidden tunnel to the former royal stables—now Brighton Museum. Tours run on select Tuesdays and every Saturday, and include entry to the main Pavilion after your journey below.
Meanwhile, the Behind Closed Doors Tours offers a rare look into the public and private lives of the Pavilion’s inhabitants.
