Dubbed ‘the most expensive parking space in history’, Cook paid chairman Dick Knight £500,000 for a spot at Withdean, providing financial support during Albion’s years at Withdean. Cook claimed that Knight spent the money keeping Albion sensation Bobby Zamora at the club.
