Christmas at the Royal Pavilion

Step back in time and explore a Regency Christmas as you help to celebrate King George IV’s Pavilion Christmas Party. Enjoy the splendour of lavishly decorated trees as you discover the story of the legendary Grand Christmas Ball of December 1823.
You are also invited to experience A Very Victorian Christmas on the first floor with tales of Queen Victoria’s festive stays at the Royal Pavilion.
Meanwhile, the mischievous mice return as they begin preparations for a party of their own. Will you be able to help them get their preparations done in time?
A Regal Christmas Tree Trail at the Royal Pavilion
There is an unprecedented 17 Christmas Trees on the Royal Pavilion Estate this year including our first ever tree in the Garden. Indoors, discover 16 beautifully themed trees that capture moments from George IV’s grand Regency parties—featuring decorations inspired by elegant fashions, copper kitchenware, and festive treats—to Queen Victoria’s cherished Christmas traditions, including her iconic tree with Albert and a tribute to Brighton’s festive fireworks. Each tree adds a unique touch to this seasonal journey through the Pavilion’s past, finishing with a special Bridgerton tree in our shop!
