Royal Pavilion Music Room

On this magical evening, we invite you to experience art as something lived in time — moving through spaces animated by unexpected performance, sculpture, sound and moving image in dialogue with the Royal Pavilion’s iconic interiors. Over two centuries after its original conception as the most provocative, radical and extraordinary architectural and interior wonder in Europe – created to host the most extravagant evenings and salons of its time – The Royal Pavilion will, on this unique occasion, be transformed and curated by The Adelaide Salon into a living embodiment of contemporary arts, including performance, music, fine food and Sussex sparkling wines.

"The Adelaide Salon takes inspiration from the great salons of Paris in the 17th to 19th centuries–spaces where artists, writers, and philosophers gathered to debate, perform, and spark cultural revolutions. Dowers and Anzorge’s interpretation is distinctly modern. Gone are powdered wigs and candlelight; instead, evenings at The Adelaide Salon feature immersive performances, bold contemporary art, and dialogue that resonates with today’s cultural moment"
