2026 marks 150 years since Edward Thomas Booth first displayed his bird dioramas to the public in the halls of the Royal Pavilion. 150 years later, why not come and have a tour of the museum he built to house them. You’ll see some of the collections housed in the museum stores and get an exclusive sneak peak of some of the changes at the Booth before we officially re-open in February 2027.
Please note: the upstairs stores are accessed by a narrow staircase and are not wheelchair accessible, the main diorama tour is suitable for wheelchair users. Wheelchair accessible entrance is to the rear.
