Easter Weekend Fun at Brighton & Hove Museums
This Easter weekend, for the first and last time in a year, all five of our sites will be open.
Come and visit all of Brighton & Hove Museums before we say a temporary goodbye to the Booth Museum of Natural History while it closes for essential maintenance.
And for the first time in five years, Preston Manor will be open over Easter Weekend (excluding Monday).

Step into COLOUR a the Royal Pavilion which will be open throughout the Bank Holiday Weekend. .With art installations, colour wheels, and interactives for young and old, it’s a wonderful day out for all the family. Just follow the rainbow road to the entrance! Don’t miss the new Botanist Coffee Co. next door to the Royal Pavilion shop, serving up a selection of tasty Easter treats and colourful drinks.
Preston Manor & Gardens is open Fri – Sun from 10am -4pm. Step back into 1912 and join Ellen and Charles Thomas-Stanford as they get ready for a special fancy dress party at this remarkably preserved Edwardian house. Once you’ve explored every nook and cranny of the house, pop into our new Manor Tearoom by Cafe Rust for some delightful Edwardian tea and cake.

Brighton Museum & Art Gallery will also be open all weekend and even deviating from it’s usual opening hours this Bank Holiday Monday, by opening its doors from 10am. Discover our Brighton & Hove Albion exhibition, A Year in Europe, immerse yourself in our Vanishing Forest and discover Brighton’s ancestors in our archaeology exhibition.

The Booth Museum of Natural History will be closing its doors for the last time in at least a year this Easter Sunday. It’s your last chance to take in our collections of intriguing skeletons, Victorian taxidermy and other wonders of natural history for quite some time.

It’s the last chance to see the amazing Mechanical Circus exhibition at Hove Museum of Creativity! Push the button and watch the automata come to life. Explore the rest of this fascinating Museum which celebrates local arts, crafts and Hove’s fascinating past. Finish with tea and cake in Cafe Rust downstairs

Free Drop-In & Draw & Play Days
For some family fun, why not visit Hove Museum on Friday 18th, or The Booth Museum on Sunday 20th for free Drop-In & Draw sessions, or Sunday 20th for Play Days at Hove Museum Garden.
