“Dub No1” – Daniel Reeve

We received this submission of an incredibly produced and presented Dub Track titled “Dub No1”. In candance, we were unable to follow up with Daniel to get more context around the submission and its wider story.

We have chosen to still submit it to the exhibition in the sake of art speaking for itself.

Dub music has a rich history born out of Jamaican Reggae, where music becomes more than something you listen to, you feel the vibrations bouncing off your skin and the beat speak to you on a deeply personal level. Dub nights continue to be a place where the community comes to to connect to an intergenerational practice and culture of musicality, dance and vibrations.
