Brighton & Hove Museums Launch New Season of Events and Exhibitions (Jan–Apr 2026)

Key highlights include the exhibition Gender Stories, opening on 31 January at Brighton Museum, which explores the fluid and varied nature of gender across cultures and time. On 6 February, Queer Heritage South will stage a one-night only museum late Queer Night at the Museum, featuring performances, live art, drag, fashion and DJ sets.
The Royal Pavilion will unveil Dragons at the Royal Pavilion on 28 March, transforming the landmark into a Palace of Dragons celebrating myth, fantasy and folklore. Preston Manor will host Ghostly Gatherings on 13 and 20 February, offering guided torchlit tours of one of Brighton’s most atmospheric historic houses.
The season also includes a wide range of activities for children and young people, from art clubs to storytelling and a Victorian cookery session.
