Salary: £29,355 – £31,332 pro rata
Reports to: Head of Fundraising

Brighton & Hove Museums strives to preserve our city’s unique heritage, champion art, culture and diversity and inspire countless minds young and old. Our sites include the iconic Royal Pavilion & Gardens, Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, Preston Manor & Gardens, Booth Museum and Hove Museum.
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to join our busy fundraising team. You will have a key role in supporting the delivery of fundraising activity, helping to grow our existing supporter base, and driving engagement, loyalty and income across our different fundraising streams; Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships, Membership and Individual Giving. The right candidate will have experience working for a charity in a fundraising role and feel comfortable networking and building strong relationships with external partners and supporters, and internal departments.
With responsibilities spanning prospect research, partnership management, event delivery, donor stewardship and developing engaging fundraising communications, no two days will be the same. You will be joining a small, experienced and friendly team, passionate about the work of Brighton & Hove Museums. Since becoming a charitable trust in 2020 we have enjoyed success within fundraising and steady income growth, it’s now time to take this to the next level.
