Attached to the goal post a fan faces the supporters in the North Stand. During the first half of Albion’s game against Hull City on 14 December 1996 fans had blown whistles to try and abandon the match. This protest followed at the half-time interval. The aim of both protests was to draw attention to the club’s ownership crisis.
