Brighton Museum & Art Gallery closed on 2 July 2026

Brighton Museum & Art Gallery will be closed to visitors on Thursday 2 July 2026 to allow the installation of a temporary photography exhibition organised by Brighton-based photography equipment company MPB.

The exhibition will showcase work created by MPB employees, many of whom are amateur photographers.

Displays will be installed in the museum’s Central Gallery ahead of the exhibition opening to the public.

The Museum will reopen as normal on Friday 3 July, when the exhibition will be open to visitors during standard opening hours in the Central Gallery

Visitors planning a trip to Brighton Museum & Art Gallery are advised to note the one-day closure and visit on Friday to view the exhibition.
