This spectacular Historic gallery is the largest in Brighton Museum and is a new space for 2026. Previously only able to be used for drinks receptions due to the nature of the permeant exhibition, Central Gallery is now a beautiful, open space ready to host dinners, wedding breakfasts, conferences and more!

The space can be hired by itself, or as part of the entire museum. Why not hold your drinks reception on the first floor, followed by dinner or a wedding breakfast in Central Gallery? The mezzanines over looking both ends of the space make wonderful minstrel galleries, space for a DJ, platforms for speeches or for newly weds to greet their guests.

Set amongst some of Brighton’s most fascinating treasures and beautiful art, Central Gallery is both a historic setting and a brand new space!
