Fine Art Gallery improvements
To enable us to install new lighting tracks and fittings quickly and safely, all of the first floor galleries will be closed to the public from Tuesday 7 to Friday 10 March 2017.
Admission to the ground floor galleries will be free to all visitors during this period.
Access to Museum Lab activities will be unaffected, but the Babies in Museums event on 7 March is cancelled.
We apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause.
There is currently no café in this building. Refreshments are available elsewhere on the Royal Pavilion Estate:
- Pavilion Tea Company (next to the Royal Pavilion shop)
- Pavilion Gardens Café (in the Royal Pavilion Garden)
- Royal Pavilion Tearoom (access via the Royal Pavilion, admission payable)

We will happily store prams and buggies while you visit our venues. We regret that we do not have the facilities to store any luggage or Items larger than 40x40x50cm. Luggage larger than this will not be allowed inside Brighton Museum for safety and security reasons.
