This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, practical, and self-motivated qualified archivist to join the Collections Team at Brighton & Hove Museums.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about archival standards, have a solid understanding of the ethical and legal context to working with archives, and want to share their knowledge to engage with a diverse range of audiences.

Royal Pavilion Archive is of national and international significance, it is unique and varied, covering the period from 1760s to the present day. We are particularly looking for candidates who have demonstrable organisation and cataloguing skills, combined with experience of outreach. You should be passionate about sharing archival material with a wide range of audiences, confident in engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be prepared to develop a volunteer group to work under your direction.
