Job Title: Garden Activity Coordinator
Contract: Fixed term contract for 30 months
Hours: 15 hours per week
Salary: £28,163 – £30,060 (pro-rata)
Reports to: Garden Engagement Manager
Location: All sites across Brighton & Hove Museums portfolio

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, practical, and self-motivated individual to join the team at Brighton & Hove Museums (B&HM) to support with the delivery of the National Lottery Heritage funded ‘A Garden Fit For A King’ project. The successful candidate will want to share their knowledge and engage with a diverse range of audiences.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering a new primary, secondary and SEND schools offer for the Pavilion Garden in line with the project’s Activity Plan. The Garden Schools Coordinator will be supported in this by the wider project team as well as the B&HM team. The post holder will develop programmes and opportunities that investigate the ecology and heritage of the Garden and respond to schools’ needs and interests and will work with local teachers and students to develop the programme with and for them.

‘A Garden Fit for a King’ is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to invest in the rejuvenation of the Royal Pavilion Garden.
