Introduction to Puppet Making at Brighton Museum
Priority booking on all adult events for members and patrons from 25 March to 2 April. General release 3 April.
11am-3pm £20, members £15, book in advance. Ages 13-16 .
Unfortunately, we need to cancel this event because Brighton Museum & Art Gallery will be closed from 5 August until 12 September. However, we are hosting a puppet-making event at Hove: Introduction to Puppet Making at Hove Museum (brightonmuseums.org.uk)
Join us for a beginner’s workshop for young people interested in exploring puppetry skills and puppet making. Take inspiration from the many dragons in the Royal Pavilion, and explore puppet character design, learn a simple construction method, and experiment with puppet manipulation. Using all recycled materials, make your own rod puppet to take away.
All materials supplied and no experience necessary. Please bring a packed lunch.
