Shaun the Sheep has made a delightful appearance at our locations, all thanks to a special fundraising initiative by the Martlets Hospice. Our city has been graced with various incarnations of Shaun as part of this campaign.

In the lobby of the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, we proudly showcase a magnificent Shaun named Regency Shaun.

Over at the Hove Museum of Creativity, you’ll be greeted by Wolf in Shaun’s clothing displayed prominently in front of the museum.

Additionally, our sites will host three mini flocks, each uniquely decorated by primary schools from various corners of Brighton. These charming Sculptures will be stationed at the Brighton Museum Shop, Hove Museum of Creativity, and Booth Museum of Natural History.

This exciting initiative is expected to increase foot traffic at our city sites as people participate in engaging trails and challenges to capture selfies with each of the whimsical sheep sculptures. You can download the trail and view the map on the Shaun by the Sea webpage.

After the display period ends on 5th November, the sheep will be collected and later auctioned on 27th November to raise money for Marlets Hospice.

We’d like to express our gratitude to local artist Sarah Arnett for her design of Regency Shaun, which you can find in Brighton Museum & Art Gallery.

Last September, we had the delight of hosting the preview event at the Royal Pavilion where Marlets and their ambassador Fatboy Slim revealed Regency Shaun. They were joined by a group from Aardman, the studio behind Shaun the Sheep and Wild in Art, who have partnered with Marlets to bring the trail to the city.

Thank you for joining us in this exciting venture, and we look forward to your participation in the Shaun the Sheep adventure!
