Secondary School Art offer at Hove Museum of Creativity

A session is available to book at the following times free of charge for Brighton & Hove schools: Monday, Thursday, Friday at 10am or 1pm during the summer term.

Secondary School Art offer

Our Schools team have developed a 2 hour session for Year 7 / 8 art students linked to the visiting Matisse: Drawing with Scissors exhibition at Hove Museum of Creativity.
One of our knowledgable Museum Educators will provide a guided tour, followed by a hands on practical workshop exploring the techniques and ideas of Matisse.

Matisse took inspiration from different places and cultures as well as music and nature. We have handpicked objects from our world collection to support discussion around these themes.

This session is available to book at the following times: Monday, Thursday, Friday at 10am or 1pm during the summer term.

Each session can accommodate up to 30 students.

The session is free of charge for Brighton & Hove schools.
