Project Servator Comes to Brighton

Royal Pavilion Garden with people sitting in the sunshine.

Project Servator starts in Brighton this month and we expect to see the Police in our area from Tuesday 16th April.

Over the coming weeks, visitors to the Royal Pavilion may notice a stronger police presence in the area. There is no need to be alarmed, this is a national initiative that started in London and is now being rolled out to other regions.

Project Servator aims to disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public. The officers are experienced and specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit an act of crime.

There will be a mixture of uniformed, plain clothed or armed officers, as well as those from dog and Automatic Number Plate Recognition units.

The officers are here to ensure everyone’s safety, so do feel free to chat with them about Project Servator, and enjoy your time in the Royal Pavilion Garden.

More information can be found on the Sussex Police website.
