About:

Pom Pom Factory is a creative studio where paper is transformed into lifelike flowers, drawing inspiration from the beauty and intricacy of nature. The journey from wood to paper to delicate blooms reflects the seamless connection between the natural world and human creativity.

Founded by Karen Hsu, a Hong Kong-born artist educated at Central Saint Martins, Pom Pom Factory began with the simple craft of making pom pom flowers from paper. What started as a childhood hobby grew into a passion for creating beauty from unassuming materials. Under Karen’s guidance, the studio has evolved from crafting individual paper flowers to designing large-scale installations that celebrate the artistry and versatility of paper floristry.

The process of creating these paper flowers is both meditative and deliberate. Folding, cutting, and shaping paper into blooms allows for moments of reflection and creative exploration. Each flower is a fusion of natural inspiration and human skill, embodying a thoughtful approach to art and design.

Pom Pom Factory’s work transcends mere decoration, offering moments of beauty and connection. From intricate floral arrangements to immersive installations, each piece invites viewers to experience the transformation of simple materials into extraordinary creations.
