We welcome professional photographers and film-makers throughout the year. We offer a mix of outside locations and interiors that can suit a range of productions from fashion shoots to historical dramas.
The Royal Pavilion in particular has featured in many well-known feature films and popular TV shows.

Our locations
As well as being interesting and unusual venues in their own right, our museums offer a remarkable range of backdrops and settings. They include:

Hove Museum of Creativity and the Booth Museum of Natural History also offer unusual locations for filming and photoshoots.
Charges
Our current facility fees start at £200 + VAT per hour. Large scale feature filming and location work is charged at significantly higher rates which are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

Are there any conditions?
We ask photographers and production companies to respect the sensitive nature of our unique and remarkable historic buildings.
Security is paramount during filming as well as safeguarding the needs of our visitors.
Filming Conditions
Should I make a recce first?
Yes. We always recommend that you make a preliminary visit to identify likely locations and to discuss the practicalities with us.
What are the fees?
Price on application.
We calculate fees on a project basis depending on your requirements. For example, those that require more than one camera crew, shooting at night, access to multiple spaces or changes to the usual displays will require a higher fee.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All bookings must be made in advance.
How do I make a booking?
