Gavin Henderson, artist and musician and Director of Brighton Festival from 1984 to 1994, commissioned many photographs from Roger Bamber. He talks about the theatre groups, musicians and dancers whose pictures were featured in the Guardian, Observer and Independent – and his own portrait by Roger, with an alphorn on the South Downs.
