Father Christmas at the Royal Pavilion

Meet Father Christmas in the magical setting of the Royal Pavilion this December. Enjoy a private five minute audience with Father Christmas for your family, with a professional photo taken (available to purchase on site) and a gift for every child.

Before and after your visit, relax in the themed waiting area with festive activities for children, plus hot drinks, snacks, and treats available – including mulled wine and more.

Your ticket also includes entry to the Royal Pavilion and our Jane Austen festive trail—making it a memorable Christmas outing for all ages.

Please note 

• Due to each slot being sold out, we must stress that if you miss your allotted time there will be no access to Father Christmas.
• The grotto area is situated in the Adelaide Suite, which is upstairs in the Royal Pavilion, so please allow at least 15-20 minutes to find your way through the palace. There is buggy parking on the ground floor, the staff will be able to point you towards it.
• Please leave ample time for transport and parking.
• If you wish to take full advantage of your ticket and look around the Royal Pavilion, please allocate 45-60 mins before or after the visit, depending on the time of your booking.
• We will have a nice and spacious reception area set up with photo opportunities, fun activities for the kids and seating for the grownups which is a lovely environment to wait in and let your child acclimatise if they’re nervous.
• Any extra adults can pay on arrival, or you can pay in advance by calling 03000 290900 and add to your booking.

The Pavilion shuts to the public at 5.15. Please note that if you arrive after 4.30 you will not have time to explore the building, and you will be shown directly to the Grotto for your exclusive meeting with Father Christmas.

Join us for a magical story time with Father Christmas at the Royal Pavilion!

Step inside the beautiful Red Drawing Room and gather around as Father Christmas reads a funny, interactive, light-hearted and enchanting children’s story – custom-written and illustrated for this event.

After the story, there will be an opportunity to take photos with Father Christmas, allowing all families to capture the moment, alongside receiving a small take-home for every child.
