

Block Printing Inspired by Japanese Prints

Create your own incredible Japanese-inspired ‘Kamon’ print in this workshop. ‘Kamon’ in Japanese translates as ‘family crest’. Discover more about Japanese art, whilst also learning a simple, fun Japanese Woodblock printing technique.

The Workshop Leader
Yuki Sawada-Lynch has been running Art Workshops for children since moving to Brighton in 1996. After completing a (BA)Hons in Illustration at the Norwich School of Art, she gained her Masters degree from the University of Brighton and worked on community-based art projects at Lighthouse Media Centre. Yuki has been an Art Lecturer at Brighton MET and has exhibited with the Artist Collective ‘Into the Woods’ at the ONCA Gallery. Her work has also been shown during the Brighton Artists Open Houses.
