How do babies see colour? Its not so black and white!

Bring your baby along to an interactive session from The Sussex Baby Lab on babies’ perception of colour.

The session will involve:

  • A short informal talk on how sensitive babies are to colour and what colours they prefer to look at
  • A chance to chat with the experts about the implications for selecting art and books for your baby
  • The opportunity for your baby to have their eye-movements recorded with an eye-tracking camera. You will see what catches your baby’s eye when looking at images of the colourful interiors of the Royal Pavilion
