As part of our Fashion Africa project, our curators and research partners will be documenting their journey in discovering African fashion and style. This will culminate in Fashion Cities Africa, a major exhibition in Brighton Museum & Art Gallery in 2016, and development work on our collections of African textiles.

Follow our curators travels as they explore African fashion and style in Morocco, Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria, and bring the results back to Brighton & Hove.

A recent highlight of the journey is curator Helen Mears’ research in Nairobi, Kenya.
