3 May – Flower Fairies
Hear the story of Cicely Mary Barker, author of the Flower Fairies. This bite-size talk will be illustrated with objects found in our stores in our What’s in the Box? display. With Collections Assistant, Joy Whittam.

7 June – A Word in your Shell-like: Seaside Ceramics
Oh we do like to be beside the seaside! Discover the history of Goss Souvenirs and see pieces of seaside ceramics from our collections. With Collections Assistant, Lucy Faithful.

5 July – Edward Lovett
Discover Edward Lovett, the Edwardian folklorist and ‘emotional collector’. Lovett collected all things to do with superstition. Hear his story and see some of his objects in our What’s in the Box? display. With Collections Assistant, Joy Whittam.
