Brighton & Hove Archaeological Society took over the Museum Art Room last Wednesday as part of this year’s Festival of Archaeology.
They brought along a really interesting and eclectic group of objects for visitors to handle and encouraged them to participate in some pot washing. A steady flow of visitors from a great mix of different countries learned a little about what great archaeology we have in Brighton & Hove. Hopefully we can try and do more of this type of engagement in the future here at the Museum. It would certainly give us an opportunity to showcase more of our wonderful Archaeology Collection.
A big thanks to Brighton & Hove Archaeological Society for their efforts.
