‘Bouncing’ bubble-car killed film star’s mother – prosecution allege
Seconds before Mrs Lilly Mary Flynn, mother of film star Errol Flynn, was fatally injured in a collision with a bubble-car, the car was seen “to some degree” to get out of control and “adopt a somewhat erratic course”, it was alleged at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Brian Peter Dale, of Clapham, London, was committed on £10 bail to stand trial at the next Sussex Assizes at Lewes charged with causing the death of Mrs Flynn by driving a motor tricycle in Falmer-road in a manner dangerous to the public.
