National Apprenticeships Week 2013 launched today, with the aim of celebrating apprenticeships and promoting their value for employers. This provides a good opportunity to introduce our new Digital Media Apprentice, Emily Vernon, who started with the Royal Pavilion and Museums last week.
Emily’s apprenticeship will last one year, and is run in partnership with City College Brighton & Hove. She has already proved a valuable member of the team, and her work to date has included assisting with photography for our Murder in the Manor project, getting to grips with our digital asset management system, and producing the new banner that you can see at the head of our blog.
Emily will be posting updates on her progress through the Apprenticeship on her own blog. Look out for more of her work online over the coming months.
