Update 22/01/13: this opportunity is now closed for applications. We will announce the successful blogger in due course. Follow this blog, or our Facebook, Twitter or Google+  accounts for further news.

Are you an enthusiastic blogger with an interest in museums, heritage and culture?  We have an opportunity for the New Year that may well suit…

We are looking for an in-house blogger. The chosen person will be expected to spend time in all the different departments at the Royal Pavilion & Museums, and give a voice to the untold stories from ‘behind the scenes’. The rich historical knowledge, information and collections that we hold offer great potential for creative writing. There is a vast amount of material that can inspire any writer.

We hope that the blogger will bring a different perspective and fresh outlook to the work that is undertaken within the Royal Pavilion & Museums. They will encourage new audience participation, conversation and engagement.

The project will run for six months and is a paid placement with a fee of £4,500.

For further information and details on how to apply, please download and read the attached Blogger in Residence project brief (Word document, 157kb). Applications must be received by Friday 18 January 2013.
