Mr Wade’s Ball on the above evening was as usual splendid and numerous.  The Prince of Wales, Duke and Duchess of Cumberland, Mrs Fitzherbert and a great many other patrons of distinction and fashion honoured Mr Wade with their presence on the occasion.  The Ball, which displayed abundance of beauty, elegance and taste was opened by the Prince and the French Ambassador’s neice.  His Royal Highness never appeared in better health and spirits.
