On Friday evening last a ball and supper were give by Lord Eardley, at the Castle Tavern, to a numerous party of his Lordship’s Friends.  Among those who bore testimony of the hospitable taste and elegance of the entertainment, were the Prince, Lords Fortefeue, Radnor, Eglington, Charles Spencer – &c. – the Duchess of Richmond, Lady Montague, Mrs Fitzherbert, &c. and such a display of beauty perhaps never before graced the Assembly Rooms of Brighton.
