In order to encourage as many entries as possible , we are making a few small changes to the submission and shortlisting process for New Cabinets for New Curiosities, our Brighton Digital Festival project.
- Rather than shortlist a small number of prototypes to promote, we’re going to host as many projects as we can during the exhibition (7 Sep — 21 October). Providing your prototype complies with the rules (and works), we will do our best to get it on show.
- In order to maximise your chances of getting your work on show when the exhibition opens, the deadline date of Friday 24 August remains. But we will continue to accept submissions and add them to the exhibition until Friday 30 September.
- We will put together a panel to make the final decision on which project we will fund. In addition to Royal Pavilion and Museums’ staff, we are also inviting one or two independent experts from Brighton & Hove. Details of the panel will be released once the exhibition has opened.
Details on how to submit your project will be announced on our blog tomorrow.
