Brighton News Story — 4 March 1811: Preparations for the Prince

Preparations are going on at the Pavilion, that have attracted particular notice, and give rise to conversations in the town and its vicinity, not merely speculative, as we have the pleasure to state, from undoubted authority, for the satisfaction of the visitors and inhabitants, that his Royal Highness, the Prince Regent, has signified his intentions of honouring his favourite Marine Residence with a short sejourn early in the ensuing month.
