Groundsman Steve Winderburn prepares the pitch, flattening and raking any bumps for another Albion match. Steve has worked on the Albion’s pitches since 2001. He was first employed to look after the Withdean pitch and moved to the Amex when it opened in 2011. Steve and his team ensure the pitch gives players the perfect amount of ball control, movement and speed.
