Event Catering Opportunity across the Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust’s venues.

Initial period of three years commencing in March 2022.

RPMT Enterprises Ltd (a wholly owned trading arm of the Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust) is inviting caterers to apply for the event and hospitality catering to form part of the preferred event catering suppliers list across the Royal Pavilion & Museums Trust’s venues.

The Trust

The Trust’s historic, cultural, and unique venues across the city include:

  • The Royal Pavilion – a former royal palace
  • Brighton Museum & Art Gallery – one of the southeast’s leading museums and art galleries
  • Preston Manor – an Edwardian manor house
  • Hove Museum – a neighbourhood museum and art gallery
  • The Booth Museum a natural history museum
  • The Old Courtroom  – a lecture theatre / performance venue

Hospitality and events activity across the venues include weddings and celebrations, corporate events, meetings, live performances, spoken word and public programmed events.

What’s required

Caterers shall be compliant with all current Health & Safety, Fire and COSHH regulations and will be required to have a minimum of three years’ experience of on-site or outside catering for corporate, wedding, and private clients.

The appointed company will need to demonstrate sound business and management skills alongside a creative and entrepreneurial vision, whilst showing a commitment to quality.

Excellent customer service standards will be essential, alongside the use of local produce and a sustainable approach.

Applications will be asked to supply details of three referees who are regular clients / venues.

This is an exciting opportunity to further grow and develop the event hospitality operation across the Trust’s venues within Brighton & Hove. The contract will be for an initial period of three years commencing in March 2022 with an option to extend for a further two years, in one-year periods, at the sole discretion of the Trust.

Expressions of interest must be received by 11.59pm on Friday 26 November 2021.

Those that are interested will be initially invited for a show around of the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Museum & Art Gallery on the 3rd and 4th of January 2022. During this viewing the other venues will be discussed. Those interested will be sent further information on hospitality and events across the RPMT Estate prior to the show around.
