Friday 11 December, 10am-12.30pm outside Brighton Museum & Art Gallery
Volunteers will be giving away Christmas greenery and seeds from a variety of plants from the Royal Pavilion Garden, for a small donation towards gardening costs. The seeds are attractively packaged in an envelope and ready for sowing, and the team will also be selling Christmas cards.
The seeds and greenery have been gathered by Royal Pavilion Garden volunteers who help to maintain the Regency-style gardens under the direction of Head Gardener Robert Hill-Snook. They carry out tasks such as weeding, pruning and deadheading to maintain the health and appearance of plants and shrubs throughout the Estate, and provide information about the Garden to visitors.
