Frequently asked questions about corporate hire at the Royal Pavilion
- When is the Royal Pavilion available to hire?
The Royal Pavilion has rooms that can be hired for both day and evening corporate events seven days a week excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
- What conference facilities do you have?
Our King William IV Room which can seat up to 80 theatre-style has a large projector screen. This room can also be set up boardroom style for up to 28. We also have a lecture theatre on the Royal Pavilion & Museums Estate called The Old Courtroom, which can offer theatre style for up to 150.
- How long do we have the venue for?
For evening hire, we hire the rooms on a four hourly booking basis. For daytime events rooms can be hired for a half or full day. Access and set up to the main state rooms for evening events in the Royal Pavilion is after we have closed to the public for the day.
- Can we have a private tour of the Royal Pavilion?
Yes, one of our knowledgeable guides can take your guests on a tour of the main state rooms; there is a small extra charge for this. The length of the tour can be adapted to fit in with your event but can range from 20–45 minutes.
- What is included in the hire?
Tables and chairs, an experienced event manager and stewarding staff to look after your guests are all included in the hire fee. The catering, AV equipment and entertainment is bookable and payable directly with the supplier.
- Can we bring our own caterers?
No, due to our conservation directives the palace catering is supplied by your choice of one of our three local preferred suppliers. All are familiar with the building and offer a wide range of menu options and prices to suit all budgets and requirements. - Where are you located?
The Royal Pavilion is situated in the heart of Brighton & Hove’s Cultural Quarter. We are five minutes walk from the sea front and lanes and fifteen minutes walk from Brighton station. There is also a taxi rank a minutes walk away from the palaces main entrance. See How to get to the Royal Pavilion
- Is there parking on site?
We can provide a parking space for one car only. The nearest car parks in the vicinity are the Theatre car park in Church Street or The Lanes car park off of the seafront.
