This postcard shows the interior of the Corn Exchange in Brighton during its time as a hospital for wounded Indian soldiers. Hospital beds are positioned in six rows and at this stage the beds are empty. There is a figure standing in the centre. The Royal Pavilion, Dome and Corn Exchange acted as a military hospital for wounded Indian soldiers from December 1914 until early 1916.
