Brighton News Story – 1 November, 1790: Prince receives gift of 28 French Fallow Deer

On Monday last, 28 French Fallow Deer, a present from the Duke of Orleans to his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, were landed at Brighthelmstone, from on board the Princes Royal Packet, Capt Chapman, who also brought over with him, a number of curious Birds.
