Brighton News Story – 27 September, 1790: Prince dreams of family death before it happens

It is no less remarkable than true, that the Prince of Wales, some hours before the death of his Uncle, the Duke of Cumberland, was by a vision in his sleep, in a manner prepared to meet the melancholy event; for early on that very night did his Royal Highness twice dream that one of his near relations was dead; which was soon after verified by the affecting account that reached him ere he had risen from his rest.  The above fact was communicated to us by a person whose veracity is too well known to be scrutinised.
