This funding will support a variety of activity across its museums and online, including a new evolution gallery at the Booth Museum of Natural History, work on developing Hove Museum as a ‘museum of making’, improved access to Preston Manor, and a series of exhibitions and displays on the Royal Pavilion Estate.

South East Museum Development

Funding has also been secured from Arts Council England to support the South East Museum Development Programme (SEMDP), of which the Royal Pavilion & Museums is a lead partner.

SEMDP provides training and support for museum across the South East, with a valued team of Museum Development Officers and Preventive Conservation Officers.
